Vi announces unlimited night-time mobile data for its prepaid customers – Times of India

Telecom company Vi has announced unlimited night-time mobile data for its customers. This means that prepaid users will get unlimited internet data from 12:00 am midnight to 6:00 am morning. This will be applicable on Vi Unlimited data recharge plans offered by Vi with cost of Rs 249 and above.
“The unlimited high speed night-time data can be used by Vi customers to browse and download a variety of content from various OTT applications, as well as Vi Movies and TV app,” the company said in a press release.
The company said that “the new initiative is also aimed at increasing stickiness to the network and attracting new users to our network”.
The newly announced night-time unlimited mobile data will be in addition to the data-rollover facility.
Vi customers already enjoy data-rollover benefits for recharge plans of Rs 249 and above, allowing users to carry forward their un-utilized data from the daily quota during the week and use it during the weekend.
Meanwhile, Vi has announced an additional 50GB data with its prepaid plan of Rs 2,959. The offer is only available on recharges made using Vodafone mobile app. Recharging the plan with other means will only offer standard benefits which include 1-year validity, 2GB per day high-speed data, unlimited calling and 100SMS per day.
