Tecno Camon 16 Premier smartphone with 48MP selfie camera launched at Rs 16,999 – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Tecno Mobiles has expanded its smartphone line-up with the launch of the latest mid-range smartphone in India. The company has launched Tecno Camon 16 Premier smartphone. The handset comes with a full HD+ display and 48MP front camera. The smartphone is powered by an octavos-core processor and houses a 4500mAh battery.
Price and availability
The Tecno Camon 16 Premier smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 16,999 and it can be purchased in Glacier Silver colour option. The smartphone will be available online on Flipkart and offline on authorised retail stores starting January 16.
Tecno Canon 16 Premier specifications
The Tecno Camon 16 Premier comes with a 6.85-inch full HD+ display with 1080×2460 pixel resolution and 20.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone display comes with a 90Hz refresh rate.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G90T processor paired with 8GB RAM. The device offers 128GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB by installing a microSD card.
The Tecno Camon 16 Premier comes with dual SIM functionality and runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own hios. The handset comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor and is backed by a 4500 mAh battery with 18W fast charging support.
The Tecno Camon 16 Premier sports a quad-rear camera setup with 64MP main sensor, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens, 2MP depth sensor and 2MP macro camera. The front is home to a dual selfie camera which consists of 48MP main sensor and 8MP ultra-wide angle lens.
Recently, Tecno launched its budget smartphone Spark Go in India at Rs 8,499. The smartphone runs Android 10 Go Edition and sports an HD+ display. The device is powered by an octa-core processor and is backed by a 5000mAh battery.
