The new beginning with new normal at Victorious Kidss Educares – Times of India


PUNE: There is hope, enthusiasm and excitement at Victorious Kidss Educares (VKE) as the school prepares to reopen from Monday as the Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has given nod to reopen schools from Monday onwards.

The school is in the process of getting parental consent. As per the protocol the school will be submitting the parental consent and all the other necessary documents to the authorities showing that they are ready and safe to re-open the school. Once they get a go ahead from the authorities, they will gradually re-open the school for students.

According to a statement issued by the school, it has trained and equipped teachers to deal with both learning recovery and students’ mental health and psychosocial needs. Training, professional development programs for teachers have been explicitly made to improve teachers’ ability to meet students’ basic literacy, numeracy and social-emotional needs.

The statement said that, Victorious Kidss Educares is making all the necessary preparations for the physical reopening of the school. The management and administrative staff at VKE are working round the clock to ensure that the school premises are safe and ready to welcome students and teachers. All the government directives given in the GR are being followed and implemented.

President of the school, Robbin Ghosh, said that, “The complete campus is being sanitised and disinfected regularly. All the necessary resources to ensure safety and hygiene are put in place. All the required protocols and procedures are in place to ensure that the school remains safe for everyone coming to the building. We have thermal scanners and oximeters, thermometers at the entrances to check everyone during entry and exit. These checks will also be carried out during the day.”

Thousands of litters of Sanitizers, disinfectants, and liquid soap have been provided to House Keeping and Administrative Managers, towards the drive for sanitisation process of all the classes and all the common areas of the school. Teachers will ensure that students sanitize their hands while entering and leaving the class.

School has made the protocol to avoid crowding during the entry and exit times, while accessing common areas such as laboratories, libraries, and computer labs. Labs and the common areas will follow restricted entries to manage social distancing and regular sanitization.
