IBPS Clerk result 2020 for prelims exam declared, check here – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Institute of Banking Personnel Selection conducted the preliminary examination for the recruitment of Clerical cadre posts on December 7, 8, 14, and 21. The exam was held in computer-based test mode. The IBPS has now announced the Clerks Prelims result on its official website.

The candidates who have taken the test can visit the official portal of IBPS to check their IBPS Clerk prelims result.

Candidates can check their IBPS Clerk prelims results either from the official website or from the link provided below. Candidates are required to login with the registration number and date of birth to obtain the results.

There has been a penalty for wrong answers marked in the Objective Tests. For each question for which a wrong answer has been given by the candidate one fourth or 0.25 of the marks assigned to that question has been deducted as a penalty to arrive at the corrected score. If a question is left blank, i.e. no answer is marked by the candidate, there is no penalty for that question.

The IBPS Clerk recruitment examination includes two phases — online preliminary and online main. Candidates who have qualified in the preliminary exam have to appear for the main examination which will also be held online.

The recruitment notification reads “Depending on the vacancies to be filled in during the financial year 2020-21 based on the business needs of the Participating Organisations and as reported to IBPS, candidates shortlisted will be provisionally allotted to one of the Participating Organisations keeping in view the spirit of Govt. Guidelines on reservation policy, administrative convenience, etc. The validity for CRP Clerks-IX will automatically expire at the close of business on 31.03.2021 with or without giving any notice.”
