Xiaomi Mi 11 likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Smartphone maker Xiaomi is said to be working on its next generation flagship smartphone likely to be called Mi 11. As the smartphone is in works, the internet is abuzz with leaks and rumours about it.
A new report has surfaced online revealing some of the key specifications of the smartphone. As reported by XDA developers, the yet to launch Mi 11 is said to be powered by the high-end octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 processor. The smartphone is also expected to come with a triple rear camera setup. The rear camera is expected to consist of a 108MP main sensor with 30X zoom. The camera will also consist of an ultra-wide angle lens and a macro lens.
The report further adds that the smartphone is said to feature a punch-hole display with curved edges. The display is expected to come with quad HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.
On the other hand, a recent leak revealed that the yet to launch Mi 11 Pro may offer a punch-hole camera that will be placed on the top left corner. The display is expected to be of the QHD+ resolution and offer 120Hz refresh rate. For imaging duties, the handset is said to house a quad camera setup on the back. The report also added that the rear camera will be able to capture images at 50MP with the help of pixel binning technology.
It is expected that the company might launch the Mi 11 and Mi 11Pro in the first quarter of 2021.
Recently, Xiaomi started rolling out MIUI 12 update based on Android 10 for its budget smartphone — Redmi Note 8. The MIUI 12 update comes with build number and it weighs 2GB. The company recommends users to download the update over Wi-Fi and they should also have enough battery in their smartphone. Along with the new MIUI features, the OTA update also brings along the security patch for the month of October.
