Xiaomi Mi 11 may feature a 48MP ultra wide angle sensor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 SoC – Times of India

Xiaomi’s next flagship smartphone, expected to be called Mi 11, is going to be among the first handsets to be running on the next top-end processor from Qualcomm, according to a report by My Drivers.
As per the report, traditionally the Mi 11 is expected to be launched in February, however, if Samsung ends up launching the Galaxy S21 series in January then Xiaomi is also expected to unveil the Mi 11 in the same month.
Other than the processor, the report also mentions the camera capabilities of the Mi 11. The handset is likely to house a 48P ultra-wide-angle sensor, which would be a major upgrade from the 13MP ultra-wide-angle sensor of the Mi 10.
Recently, the company launched the ’T-variants’ of the Mi 10 series smartphones in India. The Mi 10T and Mi 10T Pro were launched in India in October at a starting price of Rs 35,999 and Rs 39,999.
Among the two, the Mii 10T Pro offers a 108MP main sensor, while the Mi 10T offers a 64MP main sensor.
Other than that, the two handsets share most of the specs as both come powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, house a 20MP Samsung S5K3T2 sensor and come with a 6.67-inch TrueColor DotDisplay with FHD+ display and 144Hz refresh rate.
