Sara Ali Khan trolled for her dramatic ruffled sari, called “Nataraj Pencil” – Times of India

Controversies seem to be not ready to leave Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan alone. After her old affair with late actor Sushant Singh came to light and she was called for investigation in a drug case, the actress is hitting the headlines again, this time around thanks to some rude internet trolls, who have dug up old Instagram picture of the pretty actress and now trolling her for the outfit she is wearing.

A picture from last year, which was shot for a leading glamour magazine’s has become the favourite on many internet trolls, courtesy the look flaunted by the actress in the picture in question.

Last year, Sara shot for a magazine, and dressed to kill in a beautiful yet dramatic ruffled sari in orange and red hues. Sara rocked a concept chiffon sari from the ‘Candy’ collection of designer duo Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla. But the three ruffled layers of the ombre border and scallop design of the sari, along with a dramatic one shoulder fan sleeve blouse caught the interest of some Instagram users, who suggested that Sara reminded them of “Nataraj Pencil”. Well, they were of course implying that the sari design looked like pencil shavings, but now the troll army has mutliplied with umpteen number of comments by people who can’t digest the design of the very modern sari.

Well, we think the actress looked lovely in the concept sari, with her tied-back hair and smoldering black eyes showcasing a winged eyeliner complementing the look to perfection. She accessorised the look with dangling hoops and looked very hot.

We’d suggest the trolls to be slightly sensitive and welcoming when it comes to experimental fashion. Tell us what do you think of Sara’s throwback sari look in the comment section below.
